Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications for our AI-driven communication and conversational platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with product, frontend, DevOps, and AI teams to build high-performance, secure, and reliable server-side solutions.

Experience Range: 2–6 Years

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
  
• Build scalable and reusable APIs using frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.
  
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, and internal systems.
  
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements.
  
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
  
• Implement authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
  
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  
• Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
  
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
  
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD processes.
  
• Stay updated with emerging Node.js trends, tools, and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong hands-on experience in Node.js development.

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming.

• Experience with frameworks like Express.js, NestJS, or similar.

• Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems.

• Hands-on experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL).

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Basic knowledge of Docker and containerized environments is a plus.

• Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is an added advantage.

• Good understanding of security best practices and data protection.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
